The Games & Playable Media Associates Degree prepares you for entry-level roles in the video games industry and related fields. The core requirements focus on essential skills and knowledge for working in any role in game design and development. Supporting courses allow you to choose key skills to develop in order to work in an Independent, AA, or AAA game studio on a development team as a designer, programmer, artist, or producer.

Program Goals:
This degree builds on the Games and Playable Media Foundations stackable certificate and will prepare students for a career in the video game industry. The degree supports students entering in careers in game design, game programing, game art, and game production roles in Independent, AA, and AAA game studios.
Program Objectives:
Students completing this degree will develop foundational skills in game design as well as advanced skills in design, art, programming, or production.
