Include any other information you would like to share.
Gavilan College established an advisory committee for the Construction Management Program and they approved the new 15 unit Certificate of Achievement on April 6, 2020. See attached document. We have also attached, for your review, the COR for each of the 5 classes that make up this certificate.
Please list similar programs at other colleges in the service area which may be impacted, including the name of the college, the name of the program that may be impacted, the name of the person you contacted and the outcome of that contact.
A Construction Management program can be found at Cabrillo College. As they offer 3 Certificates of Achievement - Construction Management, Inspection and Construction Codes, and Energy Management - minimal impact should be felt by their program. Cabrillo College's CE Dean Gerlinde Brady is the contact person Gavilan College's CE Dean Sherrean Carr worked with and they support our efforts.
