Bay Area Regional Questions
CTE
Although this program is listed as new, it is a reorganization of the existing curriculum to create a tiered COA system moving from introductory to intermediate to advanced. This system allows students to earn a credential while they advance their skills and earn more advanced industry certificates. This certificate is also mirrored with a non-credit version.
All other colleges in the region have similar types of networking and security certificate programs. This reorganization of curriculum should not impact the other colleges. Annabelle Rodriguez of Cabrillo College asserted that there is no perceived impact.
