This course explores theories and philosophy of designing with the principles of Feng Shui, an ancient Chinese application of designing a harmonious and beneficial surrounding, pursuing overall well-being. The goal of Feng Shui as practiced today is to situate the human-built environment in a favorable position to maximize wellness, both physically and mentally.
Students will explore design approach based on the balance, placement,and understanding of shapes and elements via similarities and differences in Eastern and Western culture
