There is a multi-billion-dollarcomplex nearing completion in Inglewood, CA and they are in need of entry level workersranging from front desk to entry level managers. In 2028, Los Angeles will be the host of the Olympic Games, and in need of knowledgeable, trained, and skilled employees and volunteers.The value of the North American professional sports industry is projected to increase to over $80billion by 2022 (PwC Sports Outlook, 2018).In addition, Whittier College has expressed interest in collaborating for a transfer-model programas a pathway to a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. The following schools also offer degrees relatedto fitness and sport management: CSU-Long Beach, CSU-Dominguez Hills, Azuza Pacific,Concordia, and Pepperdine University.
