Catalog Description

The Agriculture AS Degree prepares the student for entry-level positions or transfer in the diverse field of agriculture including animal and plant sciences, agriculture business, and mechanized agriculture. Students develop a variety of agriculture skills and knowledge in areas useful in a variety of employment opportunities locally and outside the region. Program completers are able to select a specialization to further their understanding of the specific field of study within the agriculture industry. All courses are transferable to the university for those students interested in continuing their education. The program provides students with an understanding of operations in the American agriculture systems.
