The Business Communications and Marketing - Certificate of Achievement is designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of communication theories, intercultural competence, marketing principles, and business writing to prepare them for diverse careers like Marketing Coordinator, Social Media Manager, Corporate Communication Specialist, and Web Designer, in the dynamic fields of communication and marketing.

We are responding to changes in the market on this area and deleting an outdated program developed in the 90s which no longer serves the workforce in the area.

Please list similar programs at other colleges in the service area which may be impacted, including the name of the college, the name of the program that may be impacted, the name of the person you contacted and the outcome of that contact.

We already have communication and marketing programs at EVC. We are combining them to create a new one. This will not add any more impact to other colleges as we already have these programs. The colleges with similar programs are: There are currently other California Community Colleges offering similar Programs. UC Santa Cruz offers Communications & Marketing, the University of San Diego and Santa Clara University offer a Marketing Degree. De Anza offers a Marketing Management Associate Degree. Digital Marketing Certification  from San Jose State University, UC Berkeley Extension, and Santa Clara University. Social Media Marketing Certification - Foothill College and Mission College.
