Catalog Description

Over the course of this training program, we'll teach you a variety of skills, including how to:

·        Collect, compile, and clean raw data (often from multiple different sources).

·        Tell stories by helping analyze, interpret, visualize, and report on what secrets are in the data.

·        Draw conclusions and make recommendations that will help your business to grow.

·        Organize and manage how your company stores, archives, and deletes data securely, and legally.

·        Help predict the future by modeling, forecasting, and anticipating what might come next.

In addition to these technical skills, you will learn “soft” skills, which will help you grow as a software developer and allow you to progress in your career.

Learn to use the most in-demand tools and programming languages: Excel, Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI, Python and SQL.

It is helpful to determine the need for a program if the Advisory committee meeting notes or minutes includes information on who is at the meeting. Also, the LMI data provided is not definitively demonstrating a need for this program (39 openings/year)
