Catalog Description

The Certificate in Agricultural Leadership at Merced College offers specialized training to build leadership skills specifically for the agricultural sector. Through a selection of leadership-focused courses, students will develop practical skills in communication, personal development, team leadership, and public relations. This program prepares students for leadership roles within agricultural organizations, educational institutions, and community outreach programs. Completion of the certificate requires a minimum of 8 semester units.

A certificate of Achievement in Agricultural Leadership will be awarded upon satisfactory completion of the curriculum listed below, with a minimum grade of a "C" (or P) in each course in the certificate and maintains a 2.0 GPA.

Program Goal

The Agricultural Leadership Certificate at Merced College is designed to equip students with the essential leadership and communication skills required for influential roles in agriculture-related organizations, community programs, and agribusiness settings.
