This program is designed to give students a broad knowledge of the construction industry. Coursework includes job safety, construction skills, work ethics and hands-on laboratory courses to provide trade-related skills. This program is good for students looking to learn the trade and for students looking to earn credit towards their contractor’s license eligibility.

This program is designed to give students a broad knowledge of the construction industry. Coursework includes job safety, construction skills, work ethics and hands-on laboratory courses to provide trade-related skills. This program will aid in student’s eligibility towards becoming a contractor, working in the field, or continuing their educational goals towards a degree in Construction Management or Inspection.

Energy, Construction, & Utilities
- Expand course offerings to a broader spectrum of the Construction Industry. Include new courses in concrete, advanced framing, building codes, and safety. Create opportunity for stackable certificates. Current program has 31.5 units of required courses with no track options. The suggested modified program has 10 units of required courses and 3 track options with the total units ranging from 29.5 to 32.5 units, depending on which track students choose. In total, the following courses were removed and added across all courses in the program:
