Catalog Description

The Technology and Innovation program offers hands-on training in today’s most cutting-edge technologies. Students will learn to code, build websites, manage digital content, and explore advanced tools like cloud computing with AWS, virtualization, and virtual reality. With a focus on real-world application, the program equips students with the technical skills and innovative mindset needed to thrive in fast-paced, tech-driven industries. Students who successfully complete the Technology and Innovation program will be able to apply foundational and emerging technology skills to design, develop, and manage digital solutions; demonstrate effective problem-solving and critical thinking by analyzing real-world challenges and selecting appropriate technological solutions; communicate and collaborate professionally using digital tools and platforms to create, share, and present technology-based projects in diverse and team-oriented environments.

Enrollment Completer Projections

This degree was previously a concentration in CIS and is now its own degree.  One of the reasons for turning concentrations into certificates and degrees is so we can better track completions. This pathway is very similar gaming and software development. We estimate about 20 per year.
