The General Business AS degree provides students with practical business knowledge necessary for success in their business careers. Students learn how businesses operate, how businesses benefit society and the economy, and the core elements necessary for personal success in business. In addition, students have the ability to tailor the degree based on their specific areas of business interest. Upon successful completion of the General Business AS degree, students should be able to: Gain an understanding of business' impact on society Understand specific functional areas within business Demonstrate knowledge of what it takes to be successful in business Learn attributes necessary for personal success in today's business environment
