This Certificate of Achievement teaches the skills and knowledge needed to be successful in the field of web development. Provides a foundation in usability, accessibility, and design principles, as well as, technical skills at hand-coding HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL. Includes use of authoring tools for design, editing and publishing of web pages, documents and audiovisuals on the Internet. To Achieve the Certificate of Achievement: Upon completion of the following courses with at least a ‘C’ grade in each course, the student will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement.
Existing program has approximately 20 annual competers.

This program prepares students for a full time job as a web developer or web designer.

This program requires four core classes in web development, one course in programming concepts and methods, and one elective course allowing for specialization in design, database systems, networking, or security.
