Catalog Description

This degree prepares students for careers pathways in the automotive industry. Courses align with the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) program’s eight individual certifications which make up the comprehensive ASE Master Technician Certification.  Upon completion of the program, students will have developed skills required to diagnose various automotive systems and explore foundational concepts related to transitioning from technician to management or ownership of an automotive repair business.

This associate in science degree is designed to provide students with foundational skills for entry level employment along with the flexibility to choose additional automotive classes that fit their educational and career goals.  Since many program graduates seek self employment, they will be able to select courses that facilitate the development of a business owner's mindset.
