The Certificate of Achievement for a Site Supervisor I is tailored to equip aspiring leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage and oversee educational programs in child family centers, home daycare settings, and state-level administrative environments. This comprehensive program emphasizes leadership, best business and administrative practices, and implementing best practices in early childhood education.
Based on datamart data, we project that 474 students will enroll in the program every year, and ten students will complete it every year.
Program Proposal Attributes

The Site Supervisor I certificate prepares students for the workforce by covering essential skills such as leadership, business, and marketing, specifically in an education setting. Students learn to manage teams, interact with families, and create a positive learning environment. Students learn about licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and child development theories, which are crucial for running an early childhood education facility. Many programs include hands-on training or internships, allowing students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings and making them more attractive to employers. Programs may offer networking opportunities with industry professionals, which can lead to job placements and mentorship. The certificate focuses on supervisory and managerial skills, equipping students to take on higher responsibility roles, such as site supervisor or program director, making them ready for career advancement. Students will acquire knowledge and skills from courses in child family education, marketing, management, and business within this program. Overall, the Certificate of Achievement provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills, making students more competent, competitive, and confident as they enter the workforce in early childhood education.
