This certificated program covers advanced web development skills using current techniques and software and prepares students for entry level position at living wages and prepares students to start their own business in the web design, development hosting industry.

This second level web certificate was developed to include many of the skills needed for a completer to start their own small Website Design & Hosting business including creating video content and original artwork. We have recently offered the first level certificate in a single semester with courses scheduled in eight week blocks and will offer this second level certificate in the same format in following to the first level cert. There is a high demand for the courses and we have students currently enrolled in the advanced courses that will be included in this certificate

This Web Master Certificate Program is the second level certificate in a stacked certificate series leading from a one semester cert, to an associates degree. The first level certification has been active for over 10 years in various forms and was recently updated in collaboration with our local advisory committee, the faculty from the ART Department at our college, the DSN over Digital Media at Butte College and several of our Part-time Faculty who are working professionals in the industry.
