Catalog Description
The Computer Desktop OS Security Certificate of Achievement program will give students the advanced skills needed to learn how to protect computer operating systems, secure electronic assets, prevent attacks, ensure the privacy of customers, and build secure infrastructures. Through six courses, students will have access to the latest research and best practices from cyber security professionals and faculty. The course material is condensed, relevant, and designed specifically for busy professionals in today's cyber workforce. Students who obtain this certificate will be qualified for a number of careers in information technology and cybersecurity. Example careers include, but not limited to the following: Systems administration, network administration, network technician, systems technician, desktop support, and cybersecurity specialists.
