The Mobile Apps Development - iPhone Certificate provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in the emerging mobile career field.Students learn how to design and write apps for the iPhone/iPad/iPod platform.In addition to programming courses, the program includes courses that teach the fundamentals of mobile app and icon design The certificate requires 12 units. A minimum grade of C is required in each course taken.

Mobile App Development skills are in great demand in industry today.  Our Advisory Board continues to endorse this program and has supported the certificate's conversion into a transcriptable certificate based on the new Chancellor's office guidelines.  This certificate will offer CS students the skills needed to enter the job market.  Jobs in this career have been documented and well supported by the data provided by the LACOE.
