Program curriculum covers fire service responsibility, use of equipment, tools, ladders, extinguishers, fire theory, fire protection systems, wild land fire fighting applications; and all different types of rescue techniques. Students completing the certificate are ready for employment.

Program Goal
The Fire Technology certification program is designed to provide the initial training necessary for students to acquire basic fire-fighting skills. The program includes the California State Fire Marshall curriculum requirements for Fire Fighter I and Fire Fighter II. The standards our FIRETEK program far exceed the minimum qualifications and training required for California Firefighter I Certification.
