Catalog Description

The MasterCAM Entry Level Programmer Certificate of Achievement will provide students with the skill set needed to obtain employment as an Entry Level CNC Programmer. This certificate also provides an opportunity for current CNC Operators to advance their careers. Upon completion, students will have the knowledge and understanding of how to use CAM Software and to produce G-Code programs to run CNC Machines.

Program Requirements Narrative

The MasterCAM Entry Level Programmer Certificate of Achievement will provide students with the skill set needed to obtain employment as an Entry Level CNC Programmer. This certificate also provides an opportunity for current CNC Operators to advance their careers. Upon completion, students will have the knowledge and understanding of how to use CAM Software and to produce G-Code programs to run CNC Machines.  With the rapid resurgence of the manufacturing sector, a supply gap in our workforce for skilled CNC programmers/operators has developed.
