The Nutrition and Foods Associate in Arts Degree includes coursework that is applicable to a transfer program at selected universities and colleges in the field of Dietetics, Food and Nutrition. Within the field of Nutrition and Foods, professionals work in healthcare, education and research, business and industry. Careers are also available in government agencies, food service management, fitness, food companies and in private practice. This degree requires a total of 23-28 units, in addition to other graduation requirements.

Program Modification
Our nutrition students who plan to transfer to a 4-year university will typically earn the AA in Nutrition and Foods or the AS-T in Nutrition and Dietetics.
We are not aware of any other community college in Orange County offering an AA degree in Nutrition and Foods, but Orange Coast College, Santa Ana College, and Saddleback offer the AS-T in Nutrition and Dietetics.
