The Certificate of Achievement for Administration in Early Education provides course work toward the minimum state requirements for administrating a Title 22 licensed early care and education program. This certificate of achievement is a pathway for career advancement for those who are already working in the field. The certificate of achievement also consists of transfer classes and is part of stackable certificates and degrees at Ventura College.
Upon successful completion of this certificate of achievement, students will be able to:
- Apply appropriate principles of small business practice to early care and education facilities.
- Comply with state licensing regulations as they apply to early care and education facilities.
- Apply leadership and management principles in the mentoring of adult coworkers and volunteers.
Directors and assistant directors are a necessary part of the early care and education field. A conservative estimate of completers is 10 in a two year period.

This certificate of achievementis also a pathway for career advancement for those who are already working inthe field.
