Course Report

Program Requirements Narrative

This certificate requires that students take ACCT 101, 103, 2 and 4. Each of these courses are offered online in full semester format and in 8-week format. The timeline for completion will look different for each student. At minimum, this certificate will take two semesters to complete. The FMAA exam assesses students on financial and managerial concepts. The two main courses that support preparation are ACCT 2 and 4. These two courses tend to be higher in rigor, so ACCT 101 is included as a support course leading into ACCT 2. ACCT 103 is also included for extra hands-on review of financial accounting concepts, and will also provide students with job-ready skills.
