Mechanical Engineering Technology Level 2
New Program
Industrial Systems Technology and Maintenance (094500)
06/01/21
The Mechanical Engineering Technology degree program concentrates on the development of mechanical devices and emerging technologies through the study of design principles, contextualized problem-solving, engineering materials, applied mechanics and industry standard tools. Learn about 3-Dmodeling, fabrication processes, and automation through hands-on, real-world, project based learning.
The Mechanical Engineering Technology, Level 2 certificate prepares graduates for multiple technologist positions, including engineering technician, CAD engineer, mechanical engineering technician, maintenance and repair worker and other endeavors related to mechanical components and systems. The program emphasizes how things work, how they are made, and the role technicians can play in design, development, testing, and manufacturing of mechanical devices.
