The courses required in this Certificate of Achievement are comprised of a comprehensive list of job-related skills needed to acquire general heavy equipment skills. The skills acquired during class will prepare an individual for entry-level employment as a electrical trainee such as a Electrical technician or other positions within the field of commercial electricity. The completion of this 150 hour program, will qualify students to receive the State of California Electrician Trainee Card.

- Certificate of Achievement: 16 or greater semester (or 24 or greater quarter) units (C)
The goal of this Certificate of Achievement is to prepare students for electrical employment. Students who have completed the coursework for this Certificate of Achievement will have the skills to work in a variety of electrical related projects. With the skills acquired in the process of obtaining this Certificate of Achievement, a student can provide support for Electrical Technology departments .
