Catalog Description
Mechatronics in modern industry relies on highly complex production systems to produce high-quality,
economical products for an ever demanding world. This degree trains students to effectively
troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, digital, PLC and motion
controls systems. Students who complete this program of study will be prepared to work in a wide range
of industries that utilize modern equipment including industrial robotics, programmable logic controllers
and other electrical / mechanical systems. Students also develop skills needed to enable processes to
work together, these integrated technologies similar to those found in manufacturing, logistics,
distribution centers, and industrial applications.
