The Data Analytics Certificate of Achievement at ELAC is strategically crafted to concentrate on the proficiencies in data analytics software tools and business acumen essential for effective reporting and analysis. It's tailored to instill immediate, applicable knowledge and skills in our students, ensuring they can contribute to their current and future workplaces with advanced capabilities in managing, interpreting, and presenting data through industry-standard technological solutions. This program is about empowering students with the competencies that modern businesses demand, bridging the gap between academic learning and the practical needs of the data-driven professional landscape. 

Program Objectives: 

Upon successful completion of the Data Analytics program, students will have achieved the following:

  1. Microsoft Office Proficiency: Develop advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and Microsoft Word for reporting, enabling efficient data organization, analysis, and presentation in a business context.
  2. Foundational Python for Analytics: Attain a working knowledge of Python, starting from basic programming constructs to object-oriented programming, and understand how to integrate Python with Excel to streamline data analytics processes.
  3. Cloud Computing Essentials: Gain essential knowledge of cloud computing concepts with a focus on AWS services, preparing them to manage and analyze data in cloud environments.
  4. SQL Database Management: Build a solid understanding of SQL database manipulation to organize, retrieve, and analyze large data sets effectively for business analytics.
  5. Data Visualization with Tableau: Acquire the skills to create compelling visualizations in Tableau, turning complex data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
