This certificate covers the material necessary to successfully pass the CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, and the Server+ professional certificates. These preparation  courses provide the necessary information for those seeking to obtain professional industry CompTIA certificates. Topics include instruction and hands on material that supports the exam objectives as set forth by CompTIA. This Industry Certifications certificate will prepare students with the requisite knowledge for subsequent computer networking technology certificates and degrees.

Program Goal

Upon completing the Computer Networking Technology Industry Certifications Certificate, students achieve knowledge and skills necessary to take and pass the CompTIA professional certifications – A+, Network+, Security+, and Server+.  Students will be well served with these professional certificates from CompTIA, as most entry level positions require them. This program differs from other CTE programs at the college as we do not have a Computer Networking Technology certificate that is focused on professional certification from CompTIA. Further, this certificate can be applied towards subsequent level Computer Networking Technology certificates and A.S. degree.
