Catalog Description

The Construction Inspection Certificate is designed to prepare students to become building inspectors, construction inspectors, public works and facility inspectors or similar occupations. Construction and building inspectors ensure that new construction, changes, or repairs comply with local and national building codes and ordinances, zoning regulations, and contract specifications. This certificate requires a total of 22 units. A grade of C or better is required in each course taken.
