This program will act as a bridge between the Semiconductor Processing Certificate of Achievement - which is both a part of the apprenticeship program and accessible to students interested in joining the semiconductor processing workforce - and the Semiconductor Process Engineering associates degree. This program will provide additional early successes for students who might not have felt comfortable jumping directly into an associate’s program.
There are no other identical programs in the area, however there are other programs that complement this program. The Vacuum Technology certificate may be of interest to students in Mechatronics programs at Mission College and in other Industrial Manufacturing programs in the area.
