Enrollment Completer Projections
In reviewing Barstow Community College’s Welding Technology program enrollment and completion rates for the past two years, 2015-2016 and 2016-2017, and the year-to-date enrollment numbers for the 2017-2018 school year. We experienced a slight decrease in enrollment and completion rates from 15/16 to 16/17. During 17/18 to-date we are experiencing similar levels of enrollment to those of the 16/17 year. We are looking at restructuring our welding program with several concentrated pathway certificates, new courses, and new technologies. We project will we maintain our enrollment trends we have experienced over the last two years. With this certificate being new and advanced topic we project will have 15 students enrolling with 10 completers in this advanced welding pathway certificate every other academic year. This projection was developed by previous and current enrollment/completion trends and program demand.
