Agriculture Pest Management

This certificate prepares students for entry-level employment in the field of plant protection. Students completing this certificate will acquire skills in fertilizer and chemical application, laws and regulations, as well as integrated pest management. Upon successful completion of this certificate, students will b prepared for employment as pest control operators, pesticide applicators, or crop advisors. Using industry standards, accurately apply fertilizer and chemicals for weed management, crop production and integrated. Master skills needed to obtain a certificate. Be qualified for jobs as pest control operator, pesticide applicator, or crop advisor or serving as an agronomist or farm manager.
