The Video Post-Production Certificate of Achievement provides hands-on instruction in digital video post-production editing, motion graphics, screenwriting, and digital storyboarding, giving students the skillset to work in the video post-production industry. Students dive deep into all aspects of video post-production editing and finishing techniques. They utilize industry-standard software to acquire, manage and edit digital videos for corporate, governmental, commercial, educational, and social media channels. This is a highly collaborative and engaging field that utilizes art, design, communication, collaboration, craft, problem-solving, passion, and precision.

Program Proposal Attributes
- Certificate of Achievement: 16 or greater semester (or 24 or greater quarter) units (C)
Students develop post-production skills from each course in the program to build a professional portfolio that can be presented to potential employers, clients, or university art & design programs. The goal of this specialization is to equip learners with a set of transferable formal and conceptual tools for a career in the field of animation, motion graphics, and 3D animation.
