The Professional Aeronautics degree combines the requirements for the Professional Piloting Certificate of Achievement with additional academic coursework in preparation for upper division study in aeronautics or a related field.
During the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 academic years, 22 students completed the program. Therefore, we estimate approximately 11 students will complete this program on an annual basis.

MiraCosta College approves given LMI and that Miramar is the sole provider of this curriculum.
Tina Ngo Bartel · 03/06/21
Miramar College submitted the appropriate LMI from the COE. There is a supply gap (65 annual job openings) and entry-level wages are $25.88. The colleges should note that employers require a minimum of a bachelor’s degree for this occupation. Based on available LMI, the COE supports the modification.
