The Sales Engineering program is designed to prepare the

student for a career in a wide range of industries including

sales engineering, technical sales and technical customer

service.  Technical Sales courses and additional requisite

coursework may facilitate industry employment.

Program Requirements Narrative

Students will complete Foundations of Technical Sales (ENGT 10A) and Technical Sales Applications (ENGT 10B) and course requisites for one of five engineering technology degree programs at Mt. SAC (Software Engineering, Mechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, OR Chemical and Materials Engineering).  Requisite courses include 27.5 - 52 units of the following (Introduction to Engineering, Engineering Critical Thinking, Intoduction to Engineering Programming Concepts and Methodologies, Programming Applications for Engineers, Properties of Materials, introduction to Engineering Graphics, Engineering Graphics, General Physics, General Chemistry, Introduction to Digital Electronics with FPGA Programming, Fundamentals of Computer Science, Assembly Language/Machine Architecture, Data Structures and Algorithms)
