Catalog Description

The digital art and design technology program prepares students for employment in the Arts, Media, and Entertainment industries focusing on animation, 3D modeling, VFX, and game development. Upon completing these certificate requirements, students gain proficiency in 3D modeling and animation for digital art and design. This certificate includes exploration of 3D character and prop modeling; 3D character animation and rigging; and 3D procedural modeling, simulation, and FX  with the intention of coming away with a professional level portfolio. Competencies will be assessed by portfolios and demonstration of projects.
