Information Technology Project Manager

Apprentices will gain hands-on experience managing all phases of the software development project cycle by learning to effectively communicate and make decisions focused on timelines, resources, and expectations.

The program anticipates approximately two to five completions annually.

The goal of the program is to provide students the opportunity to pursue a career as an information technology project manager as well as prepare for related employment opportunities. Students will also receive an apprenticeship certification with the United States Department of Labor (DOL) and the California Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS).

The program requirements will provide a variety of instructional and hands-on courses to provide a general overview of the occupation, working within an information technology environment, and administrative processes.
