Course Report

Program Requirements Narrative

The Fine Arts Department is in the process of creating vocational programs where we currently have none, and recognize that there is unmet demand for art based occupations in the region. The addition of a vocational Printmaking certificate addresses the labor market gap of 1336 annual openings in the LA area for this field by preparing our students for vocational careers in applied design and printing.

The courses in the certificate offer standard printmaking methods which are required in applicable areas of the broad field of visual communication including fine art, graphic design, illustration, branding and merchandising.
