Part of Folsom Lake College’s mission, which is aligned with the three-pronged mission of the California Community College system, is to provide rigorous academic programs for completion and transfer and training to enhance employment and career skills. The study of data analysis analyses and data analytics has become increasingly more important to business and management including public management. Universities are developing new business programs that include business data and data analytics. The primary goal of the Certificate of Achievement Business Analyst program is to provide relevant and appropriate lower-division coursework in preparation for students wanting the opportunity to work in an analyst career. This is a stackable certificate to the AA Business Analyst/Data Analytics program. The certificate provides students with the opportunity to earn a credential while earning an AA degree that will transfer into business, business information systems, and public sector management, transfer programs at a variety of colleges, including California State University programs and other online private university transfer programs.
Baccalaureate institutions that students will be able to transfer to upon completion of the program include:
