This program is designed for individuals desiring employment in government or not-for-profit organizations. Upon successful completion of this certificate, candidates will be proficient in fund and not-for-profit accounting and possess the ability to perform basic accounting functions in a government and/or not-for-profit organizations.
We estimate an average of 25 students would complete the program annually.
Program Proposal Attributes
- Certificate of Achievement: 16 or greater semester (or 24 or greater quarter) units (C)
This program will provide students with the basic accounting and software knowledge necessary in an entry-level accounting position within a government or not-for-profit organizations. This certificate will also be a milestone achievement for those students working towards and accounting certificate of achievement or accounting associates degree at Rio Hondo College.
