I'm not seeing an increase supported by the LMI. 94 annual openings for the whole region is low. Cautiously support. Cuyamaca has a program too.

Dr. Al Taccone   ·  11/03/21

MiraCosta College supports.

JE

Palomar College submitted the appropriate LMI from the COE. The COE recommends proceeding with developing a program because 1) entry-level wages for most Industrial Automation Occupations are above the living wage for San Diego County and 2) a supply gap exists.

This is a great move to consolidate two programs into a single program with two certificates.
