Eligibility: To be eligible for enrollment in the program, the student must meet the following criteria:
Be a registered plumbers and pipe-fitters apprentice.
Description: This certificate includes the training for plumbers to meet the Division of Apprenticeship Standards
(DAS) Level four guidelines for the plumbers apprenticeship program.

Opportunities:
Plumbers and pipe-fitters are in high demand. The Plumber and Pipe-fitters industry is not able to
hire the amount of employees needed to fill the work force and meet the needs of the industry.
Students that are in this apprenticeship program are currently working in the plumbing industry.
Section 4: Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:
Apprenticeship: Plumbers Apprenticeship Level Four Outline
demonstrate safe working practices related to steam and hydronic heating and cooling systems.
identify steam piping systems.
identify hydronic piping systems.
define terminology used in the Uniform Plumbing Code.
apply safety practices in a health care facility
list National Inspection Testing Certification (NITC) requirements for medical gas systems.
