The courses required in this Certificate of Achievement are comprised of a comprehensive list of job-related skills needed to acquiregeneral electrician skills. The skills acquired during class will prepare an individual for entry-level employment as a electrical traineesuch as a Electrical technician or other positions within commercial electrical. Completion of 150 hours will provide students theoppoirtunity to apply for the Electrician Training card.

New Program
This program is complimentary to other existing programs. Although some coursework is common, completion of this program indicates broader knowledge and competence in electrical technology as well as the skills necessary for the diagnostics and implementation of industry requirements for such projects.
Collegial Consultation was conducted, no other similar programs in the LA Region provided input as to the creation of this new program.
