Catalog Description

The Bachelor of Science degree in Retail Management is built upon the management sciences pathway which includes the certificate and associates degrees offered at Santa Ana College and approved by the Western Association of Food Chains. Persons completing the prescribed courses are eligible to receive both the ECC Certificate of Competence and the WAFC Retail Management Certificate.

The WAFC Retail Management Degree is a specially recognized program designed to prepare individuals for the fast-paced retail industry. This program is also intended to help students develop an understanding of the retail manager's job and the requirements for success in the retail environment.

Enrollment Completer Projections

We project that the first cohort in the baccalaureate degree program will be 40 students annually.

Prerequisite for the Bachelor of Science in Retail Management program: Associate degree in any field (minimum 60 semester units) including or plus the Retail Management Certificate completion at any WAFC (Western Area Food Chains) accredited college program.
