The Bachelor of Science degree in Retail Management is built upon the management sciences pathway which includes the certificate and associates degrees offered at Santa Ana College and approved by the Western Association of Food Chains. Persons completing the prescribed courses are eligible to receive both the ECC Certificate of Competence and the WAFC Retail Management Certificate.
The WAFC Retail Management Degree is a specially recognized program designed to prepare individuals for the fast-paced retail industry. This program is also intended to help students develop an understanding of the retail manager's job and the requirements for success in the retail environment.
We project that the first cohort in the baccalaureate degree program will be 40 students annually.

The goal of the Retail Management program is to prepare students for careers in the retail management field including management, retail store management, retailing, retail marketing, purchasing, retail supply chain and distribution channel management as well as client and services management.

This program will be in the Global Business and Entrepreneurship department along with the Retail Management AS degree and certificates.
There are several Retail Management Certificate programs in California. The largest being at Cerritos College. Santa Ana College and Cerritos College are the 2 Premier WAFC accredited programs in LA/OC.
