Enrollment Completer Projections
In reviewing Barstow Community College’s Welding Technology program enrollment and completion rates for the past two years, 2015-2016 and 2016-2017, and the year-to-date enrollment numbers for the 2017-2018 school year. We experienced a slight decrease in enrollment and completion rates from 15/16 to 16/17. During 17/18 to-date we are experiencing similar levels of enrollment to those of the 16/17 year. We are looking at restructuring our welding program with several concentrated pathway certificates, new courses, and new technologies. With those changes we have to amend our current Associates Degree and Certificate of Achievement to reflect the changes. We project will we maintain our enrollment trends we have experienced over the last two years. We project we will have 40 students enrolling with 15 completers every other academic year. This projection was developed by previous and current enrollment/completion trends and program demand.
