CRC offers a variety of courses available which satisfy State of California prerequisites for Real Estate Salesperson and Real Estate Broker examinations. Through this Certificate, students qualify totake an examination for a Real Estate Salesperson License. To qualify for the examination for a Real Estate Salesperson Exam, an applicant must submit evidence (i.e., transcripts for this Certificate) as verification of having completed a college-level program in Real Estate Principles. In addition, the applicant must also (either when qualifying for the examination, when applying for the original license or within eighteen months after license issuance)submit evidence of having completed TWO additional basic real estate coursesfrom the CRC course offerings. Check with a counselor for the list of eligible courses. Program Highlights include:

Based on recent history of awards in this program, completer projections are 9. This is expected to grow, given state approval of this Certificate of Achievement requiring 8 to less than 16 semester units.

Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:
- apply a basic knowledge of the fundamental concepts of real estate.
- define the technical terminology involved in the real estate field.
- interpret and apply a knowledge of real estate transactions.
- qualify for the California Real Estate Salesperson's License Examination.
- analyze real estate situations and property, interpret the data, and properly complete deposit receipts.
