Catalog Description

The Associate in Science in Data Science is a dynamic, interdisciplinary program designed to equip students with foundational skills in data analysis, programming, statistics, and critical thinking. This degree prepares students to collect, manage, analyze, and visualize data to support informed decision-making in various fields, including business, healthcare, technology, and public policy. Students will learn to work with real-world datasets using tools such as Python, SQL, and data visualization platforms. Core courses emphasize mathematical reasoning, statistical methods, and ethical data practices. Graduates will be prepared for entry-level roles such as data analyst or research assistant, or to transfer to a four-year institution to continue their studies in data science or a related discipline.

Enrollment Completer Projections

We expect annual program completion numbers to be 30 students annually.
