CTE

Include any other information you would like to share.
Conversations with local employers, including Tesla, our local public safety departments, Lawrence Livermore Labs, and waste removal companies have indicated that there is significant industry interest in Ohlone College training more students in the EHS field. They have reviewed the initial curriculum proposals.
Please list similar programs at other colleges in the service area which may be impacted, including the name of the college, the name of the program that may be impacted, the name of the person you contacted and the outcome of that contact.
Based on research on other programs in the area, we do not believe there are similar programs specifically preparing students for jobs as Environmental Health and Safety Technicians in our geographic area.
