Demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard multimedia and digital media software, tools, and production techniques.
Develop creative concepts and apply visual principles to communicate ideas effectively across multiple media platforms.
Critically evaluate and articulate multimedia and design decisions using professional language.
Produce a professional portfolio showcasing storytelling, visual problem solving, technical skills, and creative work in video, motion graphics, web, and interactive media.
Career Opportunities
Completing this degree prepares students for entry-level positions in a variety of fields related to digital media and multimedia production. Potential job titles include Multimedia Designer, Motion Graphics Artist, Video Producer, 2D Animator, Digital Content Creator, Web Designer, Interactive Media Specialist, Marketing Media Coordinator, Social Media Content Producer, Production Artist, and Freelance Multimedia Designer. Graduates are also prepared for further study in digital media, animation, and related design programs.
