This certificate provides students with a broad introduction to computer systems, programming, and essential applications used in today’s IT environments. This certificate is ideal for individuals seeking entry-level roles in IT support or technical services, or as a stepping stone to more advanced study in computer science or information technology. Upon completion, students will demonstrate proficiency in basic programming using Python and either Java or C++, explain the fundamentals of computer architecture and networking in the context of real-world systems, and use databases and networking tools to solve basic technical problems in computing environments.
